The Lovato Bomber 50 C is an ultra-flat mini buffer tank with a volume of 50 liters, specifically designed for use in compact heating and cooling systems. With a shallow depth of only 240 mm, it reduces the front surface area by up to 30% compared to similar solutions and is ideally suited for wall mounting in living areas or utility rooms.

Equipped with an internal membrane and a hydraulic separator, the storage tank also functions as a distributor for up to two heating or cooling circuits. This ensures not only efficient fluid stratification but also reliably coordinates the distribution of the heating or cooling media.

Technical details

The housing of the Bomber 50 C is made of corrosion-resistant treated steel with a cataphoresis coating and is insulated all around with 40 mm thick EPP foam (λ 0.034 W/mK). This minimizes heat loss and makes it suitable for both hot and cold applications.

With external dimensions of 520 × 860 × 240 mm (W×H×D) and a maximum flow rate of up to 4.5 m³/h, the storage tank impresses with low pressure loss and optimized hydraulic pathways. An automatic air vent and a temperature sensor chamber are already integrated at the factory to minimize installation effort.

Installation and assembly

Thanks to the special wall brackets, the Bomber 50 C can be quickly and securely mounted to the wall. The symmetrical arrangement of the connections (left/right, top/bottom) offers maximum flexibility in pipe routing and facilitates adaptation to existing heating or cooling systems.

The boreholes are factory-sealed and insulated, eliminating the need for additional insulation measures. The compact design and clearly defined connection layout guarantee straightforward commissioning.

Energy sources and flexibility

The buffer storage tank allows the connection of up to two energy sources, for example, a heat pump and a traditional boiler. The circuit intended for the heat pump, with a flow rate of up to 4.5 m³/h, ensures optimal utilization of the storage volume and increases the operating time and energy efficiency of your system.

If no second heat source is available, an electric heating element up to 3 kW can be integrated as an alternative. This provides reliable supplemental heating and ensures operation even at low outside temperatures.

Accessory options

For even higher system performance, the Bomber 50 C can be combined with the MAGNETOR magnetic dirt separator. This accessory reliably removes metallic particles and protects your heating circuits from deposits.

In addition, a selection of electric heating elements (1.5 kW, 2 kW, 3 kW) as well as various end caps and connection parts are available to optimally adapt the storage unit to your individual requirements.
